The Clothesline Tours

The Clothesline Tours

If you know, you know.

Some people show guests their new kitchen. Others point out the deck, the view, or the garden they’ve been lovingly battling since Labour Weekend.

Our customers?

They take people on a Clothesline Tour.

And honestly… we couldn’t love this more if we tried.

“Everyone HAS to see our clothesline!”

We hear this time and time again.

Friends arrive. Family pops in. Neighbours wander over.

And before the kettle’s even boiled, it’s:

“Come out the back — you have to see our clothesline.”

One of our absolute favourite moments came from a lovely customer whose god‑daughter, on noticing visitors at the house, casually asked:

“Have they had the Clothesline Tour yet?”

We laughed. Loudly. This is when we knew FlexiDry had officially crossed into household celebrity territory.

When husbands discover the magic ✨

Ah yes. The husbands.

Let’s talk about them.

Exhibit A: The Peg Leaver

One customer told us her husband never used the clothesline.

Fast‑forward a little… and not only is he now a regular user — he leaves the pegs on the line when he’s finished.

Savage.

This raises a very important question:

👉 Who else does this? 👉 Is this efficient… or absolute chaos?

We may need to take a poll.

Exhibit B: The Very Unexcited Husband

Another customer confided that her husband was “not excited” about her new FlexiDry purchase.

Not excited.

But before we’d even left Auckland, we received the most wonderful text:

“He’s VERY excited about the new clothesline… and wonders if we should’ve got the Family model.”

We have also heard tell that said husband is now the lead controller of clothesline positioning, expertly moving it around the yard for maximum sun, breeze and drying advantage.

Do we get extra brownie points for getting husbands involved in laundry day?

We think yes.

Looking ahead — new year, big energy

With the festive season now behind us, we’re heading into the new year full of excitement.

🚚 South Island depot

Yes — it’s happening.

Our South Island depot is taking shape, and we’re currently in full production mode, getting stock ready to head south. Once we’re ready to ship from there, we’ll be making a proper announcement.

If you’re waiting for South Island supply — let us know. We’ll make sure you’re personally kept in the loop.

See us in real life 👋

We’ll be popping up at shows around the country this year.

If we’re not at a show near you, chances are… we didn’t know about it!

👉 If you’d like to see FlexiDry in real life at a show near you, please tell us so we can follow up.

Until next time…

Keep touring your clotheslines. Keep converting reluctant husbands. And keep enjoying The Smarter Way To Dry.

Because when your clothesline becomes a talking point, you know you’ve made a great choice.

I wanted to leave a review for the Flexidry clothesline we purchased at the Wellington Home & Living show.
What a great invention, it’s wonderful being able to dry clothes outside in the fresh air even on rainy days in winter !! It tucks in nicely under our deck ‘overhang’ and there are no more wet clothes draped around our woodfire for days. I love the way it’s so easy to move it into the sun. Even placing it on the sloping driveway, the brakes hold the clothesline in place and it won’t move.
